Fayyaz Samor has demanded that the tenure of District Bar, High Court Bar, Supreme Court Bar should be increased from one year to 3 or 2 years
KARACHI: (By Staff Reporter) Barrister Fayyaz Samor announced’ Karachi High Court Bar election campaign 2024 for the first time by holding a press conference at the Karachi Press Club with a large number of fellow lawyer leaders.
Barrister Fayaz Samor said that the purpose of the press conference is only to take the public on board to solve the problems of the judiciary so that the judicial system which is on the verge of destruction can be saved on a revolutionary and emergency basis.
Karachi High Court Bar Presidential Candidate Barrister Fayaz Samoor has demanded that the tenure of District Bar, High Court Bar, Supreme Court Bar should be increased from one year to 3 years, High Court Judge should be given mandatory training or course before appointment. Army-style recruitment system should be organized in judiciary, direct recruitment system should be abolished.
He said that the monopoly in the bar is ours but its effects are on the public, there are many flaws in the judicial system and there are also many problems. thousands of cases are pending which affects the common man. There are many flaws in the organizing setup we create within the four walls. The system of bar and bench, bar election that comes to our body, there is no body of any kind on the High Court to keep checks and balances. Actions on the High Court.

Barrister Fayaz Samor further said that we invite the public to join our process. People cannot vote but they can give opinion.
Barrister Fayaz Samoor said that nothing said by a journalist comes under contempt, journalists raise people’s problems and speak their language, the third pillar of the state is journalism where as the judiciary is fourth one , we. Wanting to take the journalist community with us to find immediate solutions to the problems through revolutionary measures with young leadership in the judicial system, we have to do a lot of revolutionary work out of the tradition, in which we also need the help of the journalist community.
The duration of bar association is only one year which should be extended to at least two years, in Sri Lanka it is two years, in many states of India it is two years and in some places it is 4 to 5 years. Bar is not delivering within a year, thousands of people are coming to courts daily, they also have many problems, and how will they solve these problems in a year.
They want to take the journalists along so that a third force is created in this country and this monopoly that has been going on for years ends.
Barrister Fayaz Samoor said that our judicial system has reached the brink of complete destruction, there are millions of cases, there is a need to move away from the old judicial system and take some better measures.
He said that the strongest institution we have is the Army which has control over everything, the only reason for this is that its induction system is great and they deliver and show, the need is that if you While recruiting a civil judge, after training him thoroughly, promote him and bring him to the High Court.
