LAHORE: (Web Desk) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Lahore on Tuesday and headed a meeting at the Corps Headquarters, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
According to details, the army chief met senior serving and retired officers of the Pakistan Army in the provincial capital and expressed views on professional affairs along with the regional security situation.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa shed light on efforts to maintain peace and stability, possible opportunities, benefits and challenges. The participants gave suggestions to the COAS on various issues. The ISPR told that General Jehangir Karamat (retd), General Ahsan Saleem Hayat (retd), General Tariq Majid (retd), General Rashad Mahmood (retd) and General Raheel Sharif (retd) were also present during the meeting.
