LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has Saturday said that the provincial regime has made a website to provide information about coronavirus patients, and details of medical facilities at all hospitals will be available on app.
Dr Yasmin Rashid held a press conference in Lahore and said hospitals have run short of beds as COVID-19 cases are continuously increasing in the province.
“Patients can contact Rescue 1122 if they are tested positive. A separate control room has been formed for Lahore on the direstions of CM Usman Buzdar and the government is taking all steps to counter the pandemic.
“Briefings will be given about precautionary measures to raise awareness. People stand in queues to get food even in countries like America. The poor in Pakistan are getting food by the grace of Allah.
“There is no expert of coronavirus in the entire world and efforts are being made to prepare its medicine. There are 27,000 beds at hospitals across the province and 64 patients are on ventilator. The government will share all facts with media.” –Web Desk
