LAHORE: (Web Desk) Smart lockdown was imposed in seven more areas of Lahore at 12:00 midnight (night between Wednesday and Thursday) in the wake of preventing spread of coronavirus.
The areas which were sealed include Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Gulberg, Gulshan-e Ravi, Garden Town, Faisal Town, Model Town and Walled City.
According to sources, the decision to impose smart lockdown was taken after 3,613 cases of coronavirus reported in these areas.
All the entry and exit points of these areas were sealed by placing barriers and police officials were deployed to check the movement of the residents. Sources also informed that only the residents of these areas would be allowed to enter the locality.
